Who Is Stichiz…

As seen on BET’s Hip Hop Series ‘One Shot’- A multi-lingual, tongue-twisting Hip-Hop Artist born in Ottawa, Canada to parents of Haitian descent and raised in South Florida. Stichiz is known for her talents as a Lyricist, Songwriter, Voiceover Actress, well-known Radio Personality, and more.

When you speak of Stichiz, she is the complete package! With a stylish, unique infectious appeal and unforgettable presence on stage, she flips and mixes Hip-Hop lyrics in English, Creole, French, a touch of Reggae, and rock-like vocals you conclude in receiving a mouth-dropping experience. The Stichzophrenic Experience! As a community leader, she serves as an On-Air host, known as “The Mid Day Bae” and official female voice of Miami’s Urban radio station WMIB’s 103.5 The Beat FM weekdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm along with several sister stations within the iHeart Radio family across the world. Stichiz can now also be heard on other iHeart Radio stations throughout the United States; Detroit, Nashville, Atlanta, Texas, and Jacksonville to name a few, and formally on the longest-running contemporary hit music station across the United States WHYI Y100 100.7 FM – Miami. Most recently Stichiz was named the new official imaging voice for Rogers SportsNet -(voicing NHL,NBA, MLB to name a few) in Canada making Stichiz the first woman to hold this position. In addition, Stichiz also serves as the official female voice for ESPN-CHICAGO and has been heard on various ESPN March Madness and WNBA Commercials.

Stichiz’s undeniable passion for music is apparent when she interacts with all. Stichiz has a distinctive voice that cannot be mistaken for another’s. From radio to television, you can catch Stichiz on NBC6 every weekend with Constance Jones for Community Connection, on ‘The Connect Network TV SFL’ (as one of the main hosts) which airs every Saturday morning on The CW Miami and Texas. You can also find Stichiz on IslandTV every Thursday night at 9pm as she hosts her own show This! Is Our Future With Stichiz, which is dedicated to sharing good news about our youth and mentors making a difference in their community.

Stichiz shares her passion and her love for Christ and people through community involvement. She empowers the young and old to be inspired and spread love in the best ways possible. Stichiz is the former President of the Florida State Conference of the NAACP Youth and College Division. Stichiz is a current Youth Board Member for the Dr. Martin Luther King Celebration Committee where she established the ‘MLK Teen Summit, and created the annual “Change Yourself Before You Change Me” Youth Trailblazer Awards; an award that recognizes various students within our community making a difference and those who might have a had a rough start, but have made a change within their life and or the lives of others. Stichiz also serves as one of the Board Directors and current Miami Chapter Leader/Events Producer for Girls Make Beats- a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young Girls by expanding the female presence of DJ’s, Music Producers, and Audio Engineers. Stichiz is also an ambassador for

Literacy Connect INC. and Jewels4MyLocs, and the founder of Express Yourself Teen Open Mic- a free monthly Teen Open Mic that allows young teens to showcase their gifts and learn from other professionals.

 

In addition to creating projects such as the Project T.E.A.C.H. “Art Of Reading” where her trusted partners travel to various places building book nooks (small libraries) for children, as Stichiz puts it “by the grace of God” Project T.E.A.C.H. continues to aid students as they pursue their education by granting need-based scholarships (Tu Es Belle Scholarship) to high school graduating Seniors who demonstrate excellence in character and/or are making a difference by helping others through community service in church or school (the arts, music, poetry and/or

S.T.E.M. projects). However, it doesn’t stop there, Stichiz is also the author of the Amazon best-selling Multicultural Children’s Book series Tu Es Belle: You Are Beautiful Abby’s Great Day. Its mission is to encourage children to love the skin they were born in and to learn a few key words in English, French and in Creole. With her children’s book she hopes it will empower kids to love the skin God gave them and appreciate others.
